We’re writing to you this morning from international departure gate 6 at Melbourne Airport with the two of us about to jet off to the Tour de France.
The Tour itself doesn’t start until June 29 but before we get there we’ve got a couple of stops to make. We’re on our way to Hong Kong this morning where we’ll be spending a couple with they guys from Champ-Sys at their HQ and they’ll be showing us a little bit of HK cycling culture. We’ll then make our way to Milan and spend some time in Verese at the GreenEDGE training center and service course to see what goes on there. Then it’s to Nice for a few days of riding before we take the ferry over to Corsica for the Grand Depart of the 100th Tour de France.
For the next five weeks we’ll be bringing you stories from the road and, of course, coverage of the Tour de France that you won’t find anywhere else. However, all the travel means that we’re going to put a hold on the Rocacorba Daily for the next few weeks while we’re away.
Have a great start to your week and we’ll have some great stuff from Hong Kong for you. In the meantime, don’t forget to join our Tour de France tipping competition!
