Don’t miss out on the latest CyclingTips updates.
Here’s how Santa rolls Down Under.
I don’t want to put a damper on the festive season, but just a quick reminder to be extra careful out on the roads over the next week. It always seems like someone gets seriously injured or killed on a bike by a vehicle during the holidays. Ride in small groups and try to get out early.
Oh, and don’t stress about putting on some extra Christmas kilos. ‘Tis the season to stuff your face with all the great food out there!
I want to than everyone who has made this site possible throughout 2009. Most of all, you the readers. Sometimes I receive an email or a discussion takes place under a post that makes this the most satisfying job in the world. I learned a lot about you in the reader survey which an astonishing number of you took the time to fill out. Nothing will change too fast, but there’s some exciting things coming up in 2010 that I think you’ll enjoy.
I also want to thank the sponsors of Cycling Tips. Cycling Edge has been by my side for over half the year and make much of what you see possible. Other sponsors who have graciously helped me out and I hope to have a long term relationship with includes Wattbike and Champion Systems. A’qto cycling apparel and The Scody High Country Challenge have also taken a punt with me this month. Believe it or not, one by one all of these sponsors are helping me stay out of the office for another month and providing the best website that I can for you guys. It’s a dream come true!
Merry Christmas to you and your families and all the best in 2010!
PS, if you’re not shopped out yet and want a great desktop calendar or a Cycling Tips kit you can still buy them here. ;-)
