Colors Of The Giro

by CyclingTips

I don’t know about you but I still have Giro-Fever. It was the most spectacular Giro d’Italia I can remember and I have to admit that I’ve felt a little bit empty without it this week.

If you’ve ever been to a Grand Tour or ProTour event like this you’ll quickly realise that there’s so much more going on than a bike race. In my opinion, the bike race itself is only a side-show to the real spectacle – the people.  You don’t see festivities like this in any other sport.

To finish off the week I thought I’d share the rest of the photos I received from the Giro and didn’t get to post.  I always enjoy seeing what’s going on behind the scenes just as much as I enjoy following the race.  Photos like this make me feel like I was there because it’s exactly what I’d be seeing.

In other news that I’ve been holding off to announce…I’m going to the TOUR!  Yes indeed, the Tour de France.  I’ve never been to it before and it’s a dream come true.  The month of July is going to be sensational as you’ll be experiencing it with me firsthand.  More details to come next week.

Good luck to everyone who is racing this weekend.  If not, enjoy you ride!
