Enough about what I have to say about the Geelong 2010 World Championships. A better way to find out what’s going on in the upcoming days is from the riders themselves.

For most of the big events this year I’ve put together twitterlists which include all the riders racing. It’s proved to be my favorite way of keeing in touch with the riders’ thoughts and the race itself. Keep an eye on this streaming twitterlist to hear the latest “what’s happening” over the next week at the World Championships.

Here are Geelong UCI World Championships provisional startlists for the Elite MenU23 MenElite Women.

Don’t forget to make the trip to Buninyong this Sunday for the Elite warm-up races. Some big names are going to be ripping apart our Buninyong National RR circuit. It’s an awesome course for spectators and will be a great way to get up close to the biggest rock stars of cycling.  It’ll be interesting to see who has a crack at winning and who is hiding their form.

Simon Gerrans, world championships favourite Philippe Gilbert of Belgium, a full contingent of Italians including Tour of Spain winner Vincenzo Nibali and team leader Philippo Pozzato, Norwegians Edvald Boasson Hagen and Thor Hushovd, French Tour de France stage winner Sylvain Chavanel and New Zealander Greg Henderson.
