How good has Gossy’s season been!? 2nd at the Aussie Nationals, 1st overall in the Bay Crits (winning 2 stages), 1st Cancer Council Classic at the TdU, 2nd overall at the TdU (winning stage 1 and sprint classification), 1st in stage 2 of Tour of Oman, and now this!  Not to shabby for a 25yr old from Launceston. He’s been steadily getting better every year and I couldn’t be happier for him. Like they say, it must be that Tassie water

At the 7min mark in the video you can see the pointy end of the bunch come around the corner into the finishing straight. Peter Sagan’s rear wheel slid out slightly and then started fishtailing out of control. It looks like he may have either rolled his tubular or his rim buckled (or both). Unable to unclip  Segan subsequently hucked his bike into an unwitting Quickstep rider (Kevin De Weert?) which took out many more.

Photos coming soon..
