Is it just me or are the rest of you starting to watch the Giro with a little bit of disinterest? Perhaps it’s because Contador already has this race wrapped up and the most exciting news headline today was The Giro d’Italia could be won in the hotel (what exactly are you going to be doing in that hotel room Alberto?). Or maybe it’s because the Tour of California is grabbing my attention with SBS’s excellent coverage in the mornings when I can enjoy my coffee and watch without falling asleep. Or maybe the tragic death of Wouter took the wind out of my sails and I’m not in the mood to watch the descent of Monte Crostis (Stage 14). Or maybe it’s simply because there are no Aussies in contention and there’s no one that I’m cheering for.

It’s probably just post-holiday blues setting in and my mind is still in Thailand. I need to get out for a ride…

Where are you at with the Giro?
