Don’t miss out on the latest CyclingTips updates.
Back in July when I was at the Tour de France I got the opportunity to meet an Australian photographer I’ve been a fan of for a long time. His name is Mark Gunter and he’s been photographing cycling for over 10 years, including coverage of the Tour Down Under seven times, and numerous Asian races.
After returning back home to Sydney from the Tour de France, Mark has been busy organising an exhibition on the Tour featuring Cadels historic win.
The exhibition will be presented at CBD (City Bike Depot) Kent St, Sydney. The opening night is Tuesday 20th September. Unfortunately it’s a long ride to Sydney and I won’t be able to attend, but here are the details for those of you who are lucky enough to make it:
The opening night will include
• A display of high quality photos from the race featuring lots of the riders, but of course focusing on Cadel Evans.
• Highlights of the Tour projected and playing throughout the night
• Drinks and nibbles.
• Plus – all who come will have the chance to win a lucky door prize, including a Tour Down Under signed jersey, a full bike service valued at $270 plus more.
If you’re a fan of great photography, or just want to chat cycling with likeminded folk, mark it down in your calendar.
