Don’t miss out on the latest CyclingTips updates.
Over the next three weeks, CyclingTips, in collaboration with Scott Bikes, is bringing you “Moments of Le Tour”, a daily, photo-driven perspective on the 101st Tour de France, focusing on IAM Cycling in their first visit to the great race. The collaboration will feature images from CyclingTips contributing photographers Jered & Ashley Gruber, and Kristof Ramon.
Over the years you have come to know and love the beautiful work of Jered & Ashley Gruber, and the creative flair of Kristof Ramon. All three photographers have a knack for drawing out the most from their subjects, with their images feeling both intimate and unimposing at the same time. It is this ability to show the people and stories behind the race that led to the Moments of the Tour series.
Each day these embedded photographers will provide you with behind-the-scenes coverage of and and insight into IAM’s first Tour. We’re excited to see what they produce as IAM is thrust on to the biggest stage in cycling for the first time.
Although this will be IAM Cycling’s first Tour de France, there’s no shortage of experience within the Swiss team. Overseen by directeurs sportif Kjell Carlström and Eddy Seigneur, a team of nine riders has been selected around Mathias Frank, following his recent second overall at the Tour de Suisse.
Sylvain Chavanel and Martin Elmiger — newly crowned French time trial champion and Swiss road race champion respectively — are among those selected to support Frank, as too are Australian Heinrich Haussler, Sébastien Reichenbach and Marcel Wyss.
So join us as we go behind the scenes and share the stories of IAM Cycling’s Tour de France. You can follow the stage-by-stage insights here.
