Tune in on Sunday February 8 at 11:50pm ADST (1.50pm local time, GMT +1) to see Rohan Dennis take a shot at the world hour record in Grenchen, Switzerland. The current record is held by Austria’s Matthias Brändle’s who covered 51.852km in October 2014.

Dennis’ attempt comes just two weeks after Jack Bobridge’s unsuccessful record attempt in Melbourne, Australia where the South Australian clocked up 51.300km.

Dennis has had a successful build-up in the early part of the season after winning a stage and the general classification at the Tour Down Under. He also came second in the Australian National Time Trial championships in early January, eight seconds behind winner Richie Porte.

So, can Rohan Dennis beat the world hour record?
