Ronde van Vlaanderen through the lens of Kristof Ramon

by CyclingTips

Alexander Kristoff has quietly chalked up some impressive wins during his relatively young career including two Tour de France stage wins, Milan-San remo last season, and now added Ronde van Vlaanderen to his impressive palmares.

The Norwegian Katusha rider reached the finish of De Ronde together with Niki Terpstra, and despite the Etixx-QuickStep rider opting not to work with him in the final kilometers, Kristoff was able to easily beat him in the sprint to the line.

It was not a race of fireworks like we’ve seen in the past at the Tour of Flanders and two of the main contenders were sidelined, but it’s one of the most anticipated races of the year. We hope you enjoy these photos by Belgian photographer Kristof Ramon.
