Andrew had this to say about his steed of choice…

“I’d never ridden a Ti bike before (I’ve been on steel, scandium, alloy, carbon and a custom team issue Pinarello Prince back in the day) but when Peter from Cycling Edge said that he was no longer stocking Parlee and that he should get me on a Moots I jumped at the chance. I knew that they were referred to as the gold standard when it comes to Ti and since our first introduction I’ve loved every ride on it.

I was particularly interested in racing it and seeing how it felt in comparison to the Parlee I used to ride. I’m not a great reviewer of bikes but times speak for themselves and my quickest time up Kinglake was set on this bike with training wheels. I’ve also won all my VRS races on the Moots so it can’t be too bad.

I haven’t tricked it up too much. It runs mechanical Campagnolo Record and there are no super light components other than some very light tubs that Shifter Dan built that I use for the hill top finishes like Baw Baw. With these wheels on the bike weighs a svelte 6.8kg.”
