A lot has been happening at the CyclingTips Emporium lately, so we thought we’d take the time to update you on some great new brands and products that you may have missed …

MAAP burst onto the scene in late 2014 as the hot new brand in Australian cycling apparel, and have grown to be one of the biggest drivers of cycling apparel culture in Australia. Their commitment to furthering the aesthetic and style of cycling has continued with their latest November release of styles for both the northern and southern hemispheres.

Following on from their September range, MAAP’s new collection applies the latest in technical fabric innovations to its signature fits.  MAAP has released a range of styles made to cover all your needs across a range of riding conditions, whether you’re faced with rising summer temps or the onset of winter.

Here’s a few of the new items in the MAAP range:

The November collection is a continuation of their broad range of men’s and women’s apparel with seven new jerseys. Adding to the versatility of their latest release, MAAP has released the new Course Winter Long Sleeve, which has a matching bib short and jersey to form the Course collection. One of the key components of the new range is the Motion Pro Base Jersey which is knitted and pre-dyed for a cotton-like feel. Perfect for the rigours of hard training and long distance riding.

Followers of the CyclingTips Emporium will be familiar with Melbourne-based apparel brand, The Pedla. They’re not a brand content with staying still for long, so following on from their ‘Local Loops’ and ‘Locals United’ collections, The Pedla has released their first ever Adventure kit for both men and women as well as their latest ‘Linear Collection’.

The Pedla had this to say about their Linear Collection:

‘Every collection we develop is designed to make you want to get out and ride. Our starting point for that process always begins with fabric choices. With some of the most technical and luxurious fabrics we’ve ever incorporated, our latest Linear Collection is no exception. So we do indeed hope it will make you want to get out there and keep pedalling.’

Here are some of our favourites from both the Adventure and Linear Collections:

The new Adventure collection includes the Lana Wool short sleeve jersey and Long Haul bib short engineered for stability, delivering optimal muscle support and aerodynamics. Side pockets are built into the bib shorts, perfect for carrying additional supplies on and off the bike.

The Linear collection includes their LunaAir jerseys, designed for extreme comfort and breathability for high-performance. On top of their performance jerseys, The Pedla has released an anatomically shaped Speed Suit – constructed from super lightweight Italian fabric. Perfectly engineered for the demands of high summer criterium actions.

At the CyclingTips Emporium, our role is to bring you the latest apparel and accessories from new and existing cycling brands from around the world. We are excited to introduce the following brands to the Emporium …

We’re pleased to be featuring the latest kit from London-based cycling apparel brand, Romance. Romance was born of a passion for riding bikes and a drive to create things. With their latest release and third season, Romance has upped the ante with an array of bib shorts and jerseys for both men and women.

Romance has recently launched Romance X, a unique collaboration project with two hugely creative London artists, resulted in two limited edition collab jerseys; the Studio Moross and Walala Jersey. All Profits from the Romance X project will be donated to the World Bicycle Relief charity – Changing lives for good through the power of bicycles.

Today, we’re excited to introduce Push Hard to the Emporium. Push Hard is based in Italy, a cycling-mad country which is home to some of the greatest riders of our time, hosts one of the three Grand Tours and boasts near-perfect weather for riding year round.

‘The geographic coordinates are a tribute to our roots, to our territory, where everything was born. We think, design and produce our collections in Padua, Veneto, Italy’

Push Hard has a range of performance jerseys, bib shorts and accessories available on the Emporium including our favourite item, the Rainbow Jersey. This close-fitting jersey is designed to be an ultra-light second skin that will satisfy even the most demanding of cyclists.

Last but not least, we are excited to be working with Australian-based brand Pedal Mafia and showcasing the company’s ‘Tech’ range of jerseys and socks in our Emporium. Born out of a need to be different, Pedal Mafia brings eye-catching, fashionable products to the Emporium and the cycling world.

Of interest to us is the addition of their high-tech jersey range. Available in a range of colours, their jerseys are constructed with an Italian body moulding material which is ultra-conforming, ensuring maximum comfort at all stages of your ride or race.
