Hello people. We have a quick one for you this week — we here at CT have been a little busy. I happen to find myself in Girona, Spain, yet again. Two weeks ago it was for the Campagnolo Super Record EPS 12 speed launch, this time it’s for a multi-brand event, all of which is a bit hush-hush. I know everyone else is also scattered across the globe — Wade’s even in South Africa at the Cape Epic, an event where half the retired professional peloton seems to be lining up.
So what have you got to look forward to in this week’s episode? Apart from the usual race roundup, we choose our rider of the week; a rider I promise you no one will have guessed. There’s the usual rant from James, and it’s a particular picky one this week. There are also the highlights of what we’ve had on the site in the past week including not one but two rough and ready gravel bikes, one being electric. Whatever will they think of next!
Then finally that big, big news; the news that all of us here at CyclingTips will be issued with wide-brimmed baseball caps, that we’ve been given orders to throw the ‘rock-on’ hand gesture a little more often, and that the office stereo will now only play Black Sabbath. Or something like that …. probably. Yep, it’s the news that we’ve been acquired by the good folks at Canadian mountain biking website Pinkbike.com.
It’s all going on!
Till next week.
