Dreams of Hell: Watch Paris-Roubaix as you’ve never seen it

Don’t miss out on the latest CyclingTips updates.

We know that you love a good cycling documentary and today we’ve got a great one to share with you.

“Rêves d’Enfer” (or ‘Dreams of Hell’) comes from our French filmmaker friends Nicolas Loth, Laurent Galinon and Pierre Carrey and follows then-aspiring-pros Tao Geoghegan Hart, Nathan Van Hooydonck, Dylan Kowalski and Jérémy Defaye as they prepared for the 2015 edition of the under-23 Paris-Roubaix.

Aged between 19 and 22 years, they’re a fascinating lot: the heir to a great Belgian cycling family; a Northern French lad who knows every corner of the race route; an unpredictable but gifted Brit; and a talented climber from the French Riviera who has no chance to shine on the flat and cobbled terrain.

Throughout the film, we follow these riders on their chaotic journey through the “Hell of the North” — a brutal test that reveals deep character and that, despite its difficulty, has irresistible appeal to so many riders.

You can rent or buy the film at the top of this article. Proceeds from this pay-per-view documentary go to the talented filmmakers so they can keep doing their amazing work.
