Lorena Wiebes (Team DSM) continued to display her sprinting dominance, winning the Women’s Tour stage 4 ahead of Chiara Consonni (Valcar-Travel & Service) and Chloe Hosking (Trek-Segafredo).

Demi Vollering (SD Worx) held onto her one minute and nine second lead on the general classification with two stages to go.

Action started first thing once the stage was underway but the technical nature of the roads didn’t allow for any breakaways to gain an advantage. The pace remained high throughout the day with multiple small moves able to get away briefly, but the race was compact going into the final 30 km.

The day finished with the anticipated bunch sprint, where Wiebes excelled.
