by CyclingTips

Romain Bardet will lead the AG2R-La Mondiale team at the upcoming Tour de France, as the team goes for a result in both the individual GC and team GC classifications, as well as stage wins.

stage 5 - Criterium du Dauphine Libere 2015

“Our team is ambitious, with a leader, Romain Bardet, surrounded by Domenico Pozzovivo, Jan Bakelants, Mikaël Chérel, Cyril Gautier, Alexis Gougeard and Alexis Vuillermoz, who are talented and consistent, General Manager Vincent Lavenu said.

“We want to play a role for GC but also aim at stages victories. Team classification is also important for us. The last weeks will prove that our riders are able to reach these goals.”

Though a long-time professional, this will be DomenicoPozzovivo’s first Tour de France.

The two remaining places will be determined after the national championships this weekend.
