Tweaking its white, blue and brown colour scheme for next season, the Ag2r La Mondiale squad has unveiled a new look for 2018. The French team revealed the racing kit on Tuesday, with double Tour de France podium finisher Romain Bardet displaying the redesign.
“A top-tier pro cycle team has to review its positions constantly, change things, find new sources of inspiration in the sporting domain and manage its image and that of its partners,” said general manager Vincent Lavenu. “This new design, which combines modernity and tradition with a hi-tech edge provided by our new clothing partner, Rosti, is totally in keeping with the professionalism and elegance sought by our pro team Ag2r La Mondiale.
“The new shirt is the result of a joint effort between our main sponsor, Ag2r La Mondiale, our clothing supplier Rosti, the team’s communication department and the riders themselves. I’m really looking forward to seeing our riders take centre-stage bearing our new jersey.”
Bardet finished second in the 2016 Tour and third last July. He is the best French hope for success in many years, and will hope to reach the top step next summer.
