Aqua Blue Sport rider says airline destroyed his bike

by CyclingTips

Team Aqua Blue Sport rider Peter Koning has blasted the Easy Jet airline, saying that it destroyed his Ridley Noah SL bike in transit. The 26 year old Dutchman made the complaint via Twitter, saying that the company was not trying to remedy the situation.

He is in his first year with the team, and is a previous winner of stages in the Tour de San Luis and the Tour of Iran.

It is not clear at this point in time if airline staff or baggage handlers were responsible.
