Danilo Wyss and Manuel Quinziato have extended their contracts with the BMC team. This will make the seventh year on the team for Quinziato and the tenth for Wyss.
“Danilo is one of the originals of BMC Racing Team. He came to us in 2008 when the team was at the Pro Continental level, and as BMC Racing Team has developed, so too has Danilo,” team manager Jim Ochowicz said.
“I am really happy to be staying with BMC Racing Team, particularly as it’s my tenth year and a really nice, long story and partnership. I was there at the beginning and I really like the way the team has grown. It’s nice to see BMC Racing Team continuing on and I’m very happy to be part of it,” Wyss said in a statement.
Quinziato is also happy to remain on the team, and recently won the Italian national time trial championship.
“I’m not so young but I think I have shown a good level in this last year, both when I was working for the team and also when riding for myself. I’m really enjoying being here in BMC Racing Team. I’ve been a professional cyclist for 15 years but these past few years were the best of my career from the sporting point of view, but also for my happiness and how I enjoy riding a bike as my job,” Quinziato said.
