Bouhanni leads Cofidis in 2017 Tour de France

by VeloClub

Absent last year due to a bizarre injury, Nacer Bouhanni will head the Cofidis team in this year’s Tour de France. The sprinter has clocked up three stages in the Giro d’Italia and two in the Vuelta a España, but is yet to land one in his home Grand Tour.

He showed his good form with second behind Arnaud Demare (FDJ) in the French road race championship on Sunday.

The 26 year old will be joined by compatriots Christophe Laporte, Cyril Lemoine, Florian Sénéchal, Julien Simon and Geoffrey Soupe, as well as the Belgian Dimitri Claeys and the Spaniards Luis Angel Maté and Daniel Navarro.
