Having suffered concussion in a crash on the opening stage of the recent Abu Dhabi Tour and being forced out of the event, Mark Cavendish has been sidelined while he recovered from the injury.
The Manxman issued an update via Instagram on Thursday, saying that he had recovered enough to be able to resume full training.
It is not yet clear when he will make his competitive return, but he appears to have sufficient time to take part in Tirreno-Adriatico. That race begins on Wednesday of next week, and would give him solid preparation for Milan San Remo.
The Classic, which he won in 2009, is one of his early targets.
