Chinese cyclist hit by three cars to be charged by police

by CyclingTips

In a case of adding insult to injury, a cyclist in China is likely to be charged by police after an incident in which he was hit by three separate cars.

The incident was captured by surveillance cameras in the city of Kunshan and first shows the rider hit from behind by a car. The motorist jumps out to offer aid to the cyclist, then the cyclist and the motorist are both hit by two separate cars.

The cyclist was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said all involved in the incident will face charges, including the cyclist, for cycling in the middle of the road.
