Cyclist hit by vehicle on first ride with camera

by CyclingTips

London cyclists Adam Akram said he was left with internal bleeding on his skull and a concussion after being hit by a turning vehicle. Ironically, this was the first time he rode with a GoPro camera.

“I was cycling down the main road when a car moved into my lane hitting my bike and knocking me out. All I remember is seeing the car then being on the floor. I couldn’t remember my own name or where I was.”

The driver did not stop to help Mr Akram and allegedly drove off with him lying unconscious on the ground.

Police investigating the incident on the Barley Lane Junction with Atholl Road.
