A new 26-minute documentary on the life and career of Scott-SRAM mountain-bike star Nino Schurter titled “A Mountain Biker’s Hunt for Glory” was launched Wednesday on Red Bull TV.
The short film documents the rise of the six-time world champion from his youth, as a child growing up in a remote Swiss mountain village, to his greatest victory, at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Compiled by award-winning outdoor action cinematographer Christophe Margot, “A Mountain Biker’s Hunt for Glory” presents Schurter as a family man, but also a highly committed athlete, meticulously focused on his goals.
Nino Schurter’s “Hunt for Glory,” a 15-episode online series illustrating Schurter’s life as a pro athlete during the pre-Olympic season, has been watched by over six million fans on Facebook and Youtube.
