DT Swiss has launched two new wheelsets in what it calls its “cross road” category – basically 700c wheels with wider rim beds and disc hubs, designed for cyclocross or gravel riding with tires over 28mm – called the CRC 1100 Spline T and CRC 1400 Spline.
The CRC 1100 Spline T is a tubular wheel designed for the cyclocross racing, built on DT’s venerable 240s hub and carbon rim that is 26mm wide and 38mm deep.
The CRC 1400 Spline is a clincher also built with 240s hub, which is paired to a wide, tubeless-compatible carbon rim that measures 22mm wide and 24mm deep. Claimed rim weight is 390 grams.
