Dumoulin shows anger at press intrusion

by VeloClub

One day after the Giro d’Italia, Tom Dumoulin reacted strongly to what he saw as inappropriate behaviour by the media and photographers. The 2017 Giro champion admonished them for not respecting his privacy, although the strong language used led him to subsequently delete the post.

Dumoulin raced to his first Grand Tour win on Sunday, fighting back from a time deficit with a strong second in the concluding time trial.

Coping with his new fame will be one of the challenges he will face in the months ahead.
