Hannah Barnes wins Stage 3 sprint at Giro Rosa; van der Breggen retains GC lead

British rider Hannah Barnes (Canyon-SRAM) took the Giro Rosa’s Stage 3 field sprint ahead of pre-race sprint favourites like Kirsten Wild (Cylance Pro Cycling), Chloe Hosking (Alé Cipollini), and Coryn Rivera (Team Sunweb).

GC leader Anna van der Breggen (Boels-Dolmans) retains the maglia rosa.

Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio (Cervélo-Bigla) abandoned the race due to illness
