by CyclingTips

IAM Cycling announced its roster for the Tour de France, led by Mathia Frank. Frank was most recently racing the Tour de Suisse, but abandoned early due to a lingering illness in order to be healthy for the Tour de France.

“The sports management at IAM Cycling has attempted to bring together the best team possible for the most important race of the season,” said team manager Rik Verbrugghe. “Considering our experience, we tried to balance our strengths for three weeks of truth.”

“IAM Cycling has confidence in Mathias Frank to perform well in the general, but the team will prioritize to get a stage win in the Tour de France.”

The team will arrive at the Grand Depart in a unique way. After flying into Paris and transferring via bus to Caen, they will have a training ride the rest of the way to Saint-Lô.
