Jaramillo takes stage win at Tour of Japan

Daniel Jaramillo (UnitedHealthcare) bettered his third place on stage four with a win on stage five.

Jaramillo took the sprint ahead of Anthony Giacoppo (Avanti IsoWhey Sport) who is leading the sprint category thanks to his wins on stage three and the opening prologue.

Pier Pallo De Negri (Nippo – Vini Fantini) finished third, adding to his third place on stage 3.

The race heads to Mt. Fuji for the next stage on Friday, featuring an 11.4km climb with an average gradient of 10 percent and maximum gradient of 22 percent.
