by CyclingTips

Two Katusha-Alpecin staff members were suspended and sent home from the Amgen Tour of California after being caught dumping the contents of the team RV’s septic tank in a carpark.

A local resident captured the incident on video and reported the incident to the California Highway Patrol.

A spokesman for race owner AEG, Michael Roth, said the race would be consulting with the sport’s governing body about appropriate sanctions for the team.
