Baxhkou finally gets a win at La Tropicale Amissa Bongo

After two days of third place results, Stanislau Baxhkou (Minsk Cycling Club) finally got the win on the third stage of La Tropicale Amissa Bongo. His consistent results gives him the race lead.

Thomas Voeckler (Direct Energie) tried his signature solo move again for the second time, attacking six kilometres from the finish. The result was a small group of five forming including Baxhkou.

As the best sprinter of the group, and with teammate Eduard Vorganov at his side, it was Baxhkou’s stage to lose.

Baxhkou took the win ahead of Abderrahmane Ansouri (Algeria) and Vorganov.
