Danish rider Magnus Cort crashed heavily in training, suffering facial abrasions and a broken collarbone. It was his second broken collarbone this year. The first came in a racing crash at the Tour de Yorkshire.
Cort recently signed with Astana after four years with Orica-Scott, where he was frequently part of Caleb Ewan’s leadout train. He’s taken his share of sprint victories as well, including two stages of the Vuelta a Espana 2016 four stages of the Tour of Denmark.
Unfortunately, Astana 2018 newcomer Magnus Cort Nielsen crashed during a training and broke his collarbone. We wish to him a very fast recovery. Get well soon, Magnus, we are waiting for you! #AstanaProTeam pic.twitter.com/VQmhW2XNcm
