Former U23 world champion Matej Mohoric (UAE Team Emirates) has soloed to victory in the Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Challenge, a new addition to the UCI Asia Tour for 2017.

Mohoric got away late in the 20-lap circuit race with only Australia’s Robbie Hucker (IsoWhey Sports-SwissWellness) for company. Mohoric was then able to leave the Australian behind as he soloed to his second victory of the season (after stage 7 of the Vuelta).
Hucker was second at seven seconds while Yukiya Arashiro (Japan) and Mitch Docker (Orica-Scott) were third and fourth at 1:14.
