New kit day for World Champ Amalie Dideriksen

by CyclingTips

Amalie Dideriksen (Boels Dolmans) took to Twitter to show off her new World Champion team kit.

Dideriksen surprised everyone in Doha as she sprinted to victory ahead of her pro team teammate and defending champion Lizzie Deignan (née) Armitstead. But at least the rainbow stripes will stay within the team.

“I think it’s a surprise for everyone,” Dideriksen exclaimed in the finish line interview. “I had a small crash and my teammates brought me back to the front. I had dreamt of a medal or to win this one day but now, at 20…”

This is not the first rainbow jersey for Dideriksen, who won two world titles as a junior.
