Perth cyclists draw a Strava goat

by CyclingTips

A group of cyclists in Perth spent eight hours and rode 202km to draw a goat on the Strava social media app.

Ben Jones, one of the cyclists, said the group did it for fun, and chose a goat because it is a simple animal to draw in profile.

“In Perth, everyone rides their bikes around the river and around the hills which are great places to ride, but it’s interesting to do something a bit different,” he told The Telegraph.

“There is talk of doing a quokka or a numbat or some other iconic West Australian animal,” he said. “People love it… We are hoping that a few other people will have a crack at it and, in the spirit of Strava, try and do it faster than we did it.”
