by Mark Zalewski

British national time trial champion Alex Dowsett (Movistar) took the final stage time trial of the Tour of Poland, beating teammate Jonathan Castroviejo 22 seconds over the 25km course in Krakow.

Primo Roglic (LottoNL – Jumbo) finished third, 39 seconds down.

Overall leader Tim Wellens (Lotto-Soudal) finished in 13th, 1:31 down but enjoyed a large time buffer from his stage 5 win heading into the final stage and claimed the overall victory.

The race cancelled the previous stage due to extreme weather.
