The routes for the 2018 Commonwealth Games road events were announced along the Currumbin Beachfront in the Gold Coast. The time trial takes place on Tuesday 10 April and the road race will take place on Saturday 14 April.
The road race features an 18.7km loop from the Currumbin beachfront to Elanora and out through the Currumbin Valley. The women’s event will complete six laps for 112km and the men’s event will complete nine laps for a total of 168km.
The women’s time trial covers a 24.5km course, while the men’s event adds a loop out to Currumbin rock pools for a total of 37.8km.
