Silca debuts bigger seat roll and latex tubes

Silca Seat Roll Grande Americano

Silca released on Wednesday a larger version of its Seat Roll Premio called the Seat Roll Grande Americano. The roll uses the same Boa closure system and three-pocket design as the Premio but has been upsized to easily fit mountain bike and gravel tubes. Retail price: US$58 / AU$73 / £41 / €47

The company also introduced a line of latex tubes, manufactured in collaboration with Vittoria. Latex tubes are renown for their ability to increase ride quality, and Silca claims that they decrease rolling resistance by 2-5 watts as well.

Silca’s latex tubes weigh 85 grams and are optimized for tires from 24mm to 30mm. A 42mm valve stem version is available now, and 40mm and 70mm extenders will be available beginning March 15th.

Price per tube: US$15 / AU$19 / £11 / €12
