Taaramäe takes over at Tour de Slovenie

by CyclingTips

Rein Taaramäe (Katusha) took a solo win at the Tour de Slovenie. Jack Haig (Orica GreenEDGE) came in 36 seconds behind him for second and Egan Bernal (Androni Giocattoli – Sidermec) was another 14 seconds behind in third.

Taaramäe takes over the lead of the race while Haig scored enough points for the points jersey.

The 217.2km culminated with a tough uphill finish that shredded the field, with riders coming in one-by-one.
