Groenewegen makes it a Dutch hat trick at SterZLM Tour

Dylan Groenewegen (LottoNL-Jumbo) won the third stage of the Ster ZLM Toer in a sprint ahead of Timothy Dupont (Verandas Willems) and Sean de Bie (Lotto Soudal). Groenewegen makes it a Dutch hat trick for stage wins over the first three stages.

“I was again dropped off perfectly today,” said Groenewegen of his team’s efforts.

Sprint favourite Marcel Kittel (Etixx-QuickStep) Tweeted: “So far it didn’t really workout for the team & me here in the #SterZLMToer. But main priority is to stay safe & get the intensity.”

With his third place de Bie takes over the leader’s jersey.
