Team TIBCO announces full roster

Going on 14 years in the sport, the Northern Californian based Team Tibco is set to return next season, announcing their roster of 11. The team welcomes back six returning riders in Lex Albrecht (CAN), Kate Buss (USA), Jennifer Tetrick (USA), Kendall Ryan, Ingrid Drexel (MEX) and Nicolle Bruderer (GTM) along with five new faces: Alice Cobb (GBR), Emma Grant (GBR), Alison Jackson (CAN), Shannon Malseed (AUS) and Emily Newsom (USA).

“Our mission is to find and develop promising female athletes into the next wave of top international competitors,” said team owner/founder Linda Jackson. “Over the past 13 years, we have grown from a local team based out of Palo Alto Bicycles to one of the top teams in the world. Our international calendar has grown from one or two races to a very solid racing calendar that gives our women the opportunity to race and win against the best in the world.

The team earned some impressive wins both domestically and internationally with a stage with at Lotto Thuringen Ladies tour by Lex Albrecht and three wins at BC Superweek by Kendall Ryan. Both Ingrid Drexel and Nicolle Bruderer were double national champions for their home countries.

“We had a very rewarding 2017 season,” said Ed Beamon, Sports Director for Team TIBCO – Silicon Valley Bank. “We have retained a solid core of key riders and have added some dynamic new talent. We have some great personalities and motivated athletes, and I’m excited about the season ahead.”
