American Travis McCabe (UnitedHealthcare) took the overall title at the three-day Tucson Bicycle Classic, winning on time bonuses on the final day’s circuit race.

McCabe entered the stage sitting second overall, three seconds behind Nigel Ellsay of Silber pro Cycling. McCabe, who won two sprints at the Tour de Langkawi last month, needed to finish in the top three on the stage, without Ellsay on the podium, to take overall victory. And he did just that, winning the final stage and taking 10 seconds of time bonuses. Ellsay finished eighth on the stage to finish second overall.
