US Olympic team training with smart glasses

by CyclingTips

The US cycling team headed to Rio this summer will be using new ‘smart glasses’ technology that is currently undergoing a crowdfunding campaign.

Courtesey: Solos

The company, Solos, is working with USA Cycling to develop the glasses. It shows real-time data in mid-ride like power, cadence and heart rate and integrates with apps like MapMyRide, Strava and TrainingPeaks.

“Solos takes the world’s smallest heads-up display and pairs it with best in class performance tracking, precision training tools, and tons of every day useful features.”

The product makes obtaining the information truly heads-up and hands-free.
