Video: Kitten can’t stop licking pro cyclist who saved his life

Brazilian professional cyclist Viitor Fonseca (Equipe de Ciclismo de Taubaté) was out riding last week when he came across an orphaned kitten. Fonseca and riding companion felt that they couldn’t leave him alone, yet they didn’t have anything to carry him, so Fonseca tucked him into his jersey and continued the ride. The kitten returned the favor by licking his face continuously.

“Saving a little life today,” Viitor shared on Facebook. “I’m glad that he liked me and was not clawing me.”

Fonseca rode with the kitten in his jersey for 10 km (6.2 miles) until they reached their destination. A home has since been found for him.
