Video shows baggage handlers tossing bike cases from EasyJet plane

by CyclingTips

A video posted on Twitter shows baggage handlers not taking any extra care with numerous bike cases, tossing them from an EasyJet plane as if they were normal baggage.

Andy Thornley, a cyclist himself who was returning from from Mallorca to London’s Gatwick airport, noticed the contractor baggage handlers dropping five bike cases onto a truck from a plane’s storage area and posted the video.

In response to the video, Easyjet said “we have taken this up with our ground handling agent, as we expect our agents to treat our customers’ luggage with care.”
