The route of the 2018 Tour de France will be unveiled Tuesday morning in Paris, starting at 11.30 local time. CyclingTips will be streaming this presentation live; come back before then to watch the announcement and hear the reactions of riders and others involved.

The race will begin in the Vendee area, with the first stage covering 195 kilometres from Noirmoutier-en-l’Île to Fontenay-le-Comte. Day two is ten kilometres shorter and runs from Mouilleron-Saint-Germain to La Roche-sur-Yon, while day three will be a 35 kilometre team time trial starting and finishing in Cholet.

Alpe d’Huez is predicted to return after being absent in 2017, while there are also expectations that the race will take in the cobbles of Northern France early on.
