Wout van Aert’s double-leg cramp

CX world champion Wout van Aert was undeniably one of the star performers in Saturday’s Strade Bianche. The 23-year-old got up front with Romain Bardet, was among the best on the gravel roads, and finished in a very impressive third place.

Van Aert was dropped by Bardet on the steep final ramp into Siena but as the video below shows, van Aert did well to hold on for third after cramping in both legs and coming to a stop.
