The annual North American Handmade Bicycle Show or NAHBS is a place where a love of bicycles and workmanship come together.
The show started as a place for American custom bike builders to get together and show off their craft. In recent years, it has grown to be a larger expression of niche cycling brands and custom builders from across the globe.
Many new sub-trends and concepts were first seen at NAHBS, and from a tech point of view, it offers a unique on-the-ground opportunity to see where the greater cycling industry is headed.
This will be the third year US tech editor, James Huang, will cover NAHBS for CyclingTips. Huang has covered the show since its second edition, over twelve years ago.
Held in Hartford, Connecticut, NAHBS 2018 will run from Friday the 16th of February to Sunday the 18th.
